I NEEDED A NEW ACCENT LAMP FOR MY DINING ROOM.I HAD BOUGHT A NEW AREA RUG WITH VIBRANT COLORS..RUSSIAN INSPIRED.. AND THEN I REALIZED MANY ITEMS IN THE ROOM, LIKE CERTAIN PICTURES AND MY OLD ACCENT LAMP NO LONGER BLENDED.I FOUND THIS LAMP ON THE INTERNET AND IT HAD JUST THE COLORS I NEEDED TO HELP TIE THE ROOM TOGETHER.SMALL DECORRATING PIECES CAN REALLY MAKE A ROOM COME ALIVE. WHEN I OPENED MY PACKAGE, I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW GORGEOUS IT WAS. THE PICTURE ON THE INTERNET REALLY DOESN'T DO THE LAMP JUSTICE.[...].ALSO, THIS DOESN'T TAKED A STANDARD 60W BULB AS ADVERTISED, BUT THE SMALL 15W FIT NICELY AND I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE LAMP LOOKS LIGHTED.THIS LAMP IS ONE OF A KIND AND REALLY GEORGEOUS.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS LAMP TO ACCENT ALMOST ANY ROOM.
This little work of art is just an adorable accent to gently illuminate an empty space. However, it does not accomodate a standard bulb, I found a decorative globe bulb worked best.
